Ronald Wayne Creekmore, 62, of Portland passed away at his home with his partner by his side after an illness on July 18, 2025. He was born August 30, 1962, in Kansas City, Kansas, son of Robert M Creekmore and Beverly A (New) Creekmore.
He graduated from Winnetonka High School, Kansas City, Missouri in 1980. A few years after graduating, Ron moved to Sacramento, California where he lived until moving to Portland, Oregon in 2022. He was employed the last 20 years with Lowes Home Improvement. He loved cooking, spending time with family and friends and was a huge animal lover.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Larry Schneiter.
Survivors include: his partner of over 21 wonderful years Bobby Cook, 3 dogs Lacey, Lucas and Cody all of the home, Bobby's nieces and nephews, who were like his own children, Alyssia, Angela, Andru and Noah of Sacramento, sister, Pamela Hollars (Marlan) of Smithville MO, brother, Robert Creekmore (Dori) of Hamilton MO and several nieces, nephews, greats and great greats all of Missouri.
A memorial service will be determined at a later date. In lieu of flowers please send donations to The Pixie Project.

I promoted to customer a year ago and was shocked to get a call about Ron's passing. He was an incredibly sensitive and caring man who I was very proud to call a friend while we worked together. So sorry for those who lost this wonderful man from their lives.
