Mr. Ronald Edward Day 1955 – 2024
Ronald Edward Day, age 68, was born on a cold and snowy day December 14, 1955,and went to be with the Lord in the early morning hours of November 5, 2024. He was saved at an early age at Lily Grove Baptist Church.
He was proceeded in death by his parents Earl Roger & Hazel Mae Day. Brother James C Day, Sister Lois Elaine Day Hurst and niece Miranda Mae Rowe.
He is survived by his Brothers Roger Day (Lucille) Rutledge, TN. Dale Day (Jewel) New Tazewell, TN. Sisters Carolyn Hurst (Jerry) Andersonville, TN. Janice Mullins New Tazewell, TN. Brenda Palazzola (Jim) Morristown, TN. Glenda Day New Tazewell, TN. Sherri Rowe (Randy) Tazewell, TN. & Patsy Loope (Jim) New Tazewell, TN. Sister- in- Law Betty (JR.) Walker Tazewell, TN. and Brother- in- law Larry Hurst, New Tazewell, TN. Stepdaughter Joy Bridges, step grandchildren Maggie Campbell, Ashlie Campbell, & Sami Campbell all New Tazewell, TN. Very special friends Bill Haggard, Carter Hager and Melvin Massengill who were very dedicated to him until the end. A host of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was loved by many.
The family will receive friends on Friday November 8th from 5:00 to 7:00 in the Claiborne Funeral Home Chapel with funeral services to follow at 7:00pm with Rev. David Mullins officiating.
Graveside service will be conducted Saturday, November 9th at 11:00 am in the Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Roger Day, Dale Day, Larry Hurst, Jim Palazzola, David Mullins, and Blake Mullins.
Honorary Pallbearers: Randy Rowe, Matthew Rowe, Jim Loope, James B Day, Mark Day, Jared Palazzola, Bryan Byrd & Gavin Day.
Military Honors Campbell County Honor Guard.
