Ronald J. Delaney

Mr. Ronald Delaney, age 91, of Troy, Michigan, passed away peacefully Tuesday, December 23, 2025, surrounded by family.

He was born January 20, 1934, a son of the late Hugh and Helen Delaney.

Ron was preceded in death by his wife, Jane Delaney (Leidgen), and son Brian Delaney (Deb).

He was a member of the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church and a retired CEO of the Detroit Windsor Tunnel Corporation. Also, a past president of the International Bridge and Turnpike Association and a past president of the Windsor Chamber of Commerce.

Ron is survived by his son, John Delaney (Loree), four grandchildren, Christopher Delaney (Karen), Rhonda Delaney-Weller, Dawn Delaney, Jenna Delaney, and 12 great-grandchildren, Brian, Lena, Kaylee, Charlotte, William, Gabrial, Amelia, Finnegan, Ian, David, Margaret, Emma. He also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss him.

Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a scripture service to be held at 7 p.m. Monday, December 29, 2025 at A. J. Desmond & Sons Funeral Directors - Price Chapel funeral home 3725 Rochester Rd, Troy, MI 48083.

Funeral service at 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at St. Elizabeth Anne Seton Catholic Church in Troy, Michigan. Burial will follow at the White Chapel Memorial Park Cemetery.
