It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Ronald J. DellaMorte, 53, of Johnston and North Providence, who left us on October 29, 2025.

Born in Providence, he was the son of Ronald J. DellaMorte Sr. and Judith (Coletta) DellaMorte.

Ronnie's life was a testament to the power of positivity. His sons Nicholas and Nathan were his world, and he instilled in them the values of kindness, humor, and the importance of strong bonds. His infectious smile and great sense of humor were gifts he shared generously with everyone he met. People naturally gravitated toward Ronnie. He had a magnetic personality that drew individuals from all walks of life. His ability to make everyone laugh was unmatched, and his presence was a source of comfort and happiness for those around him. He was a force to be reckoned with. He lit up any room he walked into, with his contagious laugh and smile! There wasn't a place you could go where they did not know him. If you knew him, you loved him. It comforts us by knowing the lives he as touched and impacted.

Ronnie was not just a father; he was a guiding light in the lives of those who knew him. He had an extraordinary ability to connect with his children, sharing countless cherished moments that will forever be etched in their hearts. From teaching the art of cooking to sharing laughter over their favorite shows, he created a bond that transcended the traditional father-son relationship. He was not only a parent but also a best friend, always ready to offer advice, a listening ear, or a comforting shoulder to lean on during life's challenges.

His dedication to his children was evident in every aspect of their lives. He was their biggest supporter, never missing a single football game, even when faced with his own health struggles. His presence was a source of strength and encouragement, inspiring Nicholas and Nathan to strive for excellence in school and sports. Ronnie believed in them wholeheartedly and instilled in them the values of hard work, perseverance, and integrity.

Ronnie leaves his two adored sons; Nicholas and Nathan DellaMorte, of Johnston, his devoted parents; Ronald and Judy DellaMorte, of North Providence, his loving sister; Jaime DellaMorte-Pitts and her husband Tyrone, of North Providence, his dear nieces; Jaida and Keira, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins who will deeply mourn this loss.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, from 4:00-7:00 PM in the A. A. Mariani and Son Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins Street, Providence.

Funeral services will continue on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at 9:30 AM from the A. A. Mariani and Son Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM in St. Ann Church, Hawkins Street, Providence. Burial will continue in St. Ann Catholic Cemetery, Cranston.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages a donation made in Ronnie's name to a cancer research organization of your choice.
