Ron was born December 1, 1952 in Salt Lake to Carl and Shirley Dimmick. Ron went to South High School and lived in the Salt Lake Valley for many years. In 1973 Ron married Tressa Davis and together they had 3 kids. They later divorced. He remarried Cindy Reynolds in 1985 and got a bonus daughter and they added 3 more. They also divorced. He married his beautiful wife Paula James on November 11, 2011, in Sterling. Through this union, Ron gained 4 more step-sons.
If you knew Ron, you knew of his love for his Goldwing motorcycle. He loved riding it and often took long road trips.
Ron also loved going to the races. He spent many hours watching races at Bonneville Raceway and Wild Bells Race Track.
The only thing Ron loved doing the most was driving truck. He drove for many companies for over 38 years. If you knew Ron from the trucking world, you might also have known him by his CB handle name, “Happy Hemorrhoid”. Another thing Ron enjoyed doing was cruising. He went on several cruises with his mom, sister Kathy and Paula.
Ron has left a huge hole in our hearts and will be greatly missed, but is having a joyous reunion with his parents, brother Jim and his son Cameron.
