Ronald Drapeau Obituary

Ronald Paul Drapeau

Penacook, NH - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ronald Paul Drapeau, who left us peacefully on December 10th, 2025. Born in Penacook, NH, on January 1st, 1950, Ron lived a life full of love, laughter, and dedicated service to his family and community.

Ron graduated from life as a devoted husband, a cherished father, a valued brother, and a proud grandfather. He is survived by his loving wife, Coleen M. (Hilliard) Drapeau. In addition to Coleen, Ron leaves behind a legacy through his children and stepchildren: Jerrod and his wife Cathy Drapeau, Kristie and her husband Derek Fraser, Joseph and his wife Tina Isabelle, Nicole and her husband Chad Laird, and Angela Isabella and her husband Dustin Locke. His grandchildren, Jordan Schnelle, Molli Wojtkiewicz, Camden Laird, Cooper Laird, Danica Laird, and Ryan Fraser, brought immense joy to his life.

In his professional life, Ron was a dedicated Sales Manager at Wikoff Color Corporation. He was respected and admired by colleagues and clients alike for his commitment and integrity.

Ron proudly served his country in the Army, an allegiance that spanned beyond his service years, reflected in his 50-year membership with the American Legion in Penacook.

An avid golfer, Ron found peace playing on the green and relished the camaraderie that came with it. He also enjoyed playing pool and poker, loyal patriots fan and loved the serenity of ice fishing. These hobbies reflect a life that was active, social, and full of cherished memories shared with friends and family.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Barbara Drapeau. He is survived by his siblings, Robert and his wife Tena Drapeau, Richard and his wife Lorraine Drapeau, Bruce and his wife Sherry Drapeau, Susan and her husband Todd Bartlett, and Sherry Campbell and her boyfriend Stan. He will also be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
