Ronald Ray Ensor

Ronald Ray Ensor, 77, passed away peacefully and pain free on March 1, 2025, after battling cancer and other complications.

Ronald was a Vietnam veteran who served our country bravely, and earned numerous prestigious honors, and commendations. He received a purple heart after being wounded in the line of duty, a Vietnam Service Medal with 3 Bronze Service Stars, the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Combat Infantryman Badge, and Expert Rifleman Badge.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William D. and Mildred Ensor; wife, Debra Drinnon Ensor; siblings, Betty Ann Smith, and Margie Sue Sullivan; and his grandson, Austin Taylor Ensor.

Ronald is survived by his daughters, Charity Sunshine Crawford and Kristi Russell and bonus son-in-law, Jason Brewer, granddaughters, Kendall and Sydney Crawford, and Jennifer Smith (Ethan); great grandson, Kaydence "Bubba" Smith, and his great granddaughter, Allison Sexton.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at Church Hill Memory Gardens. Military honors will be conducted by American Legion Hammond Post #3/265. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the cemetery by 1:45 PM.
