Ronald Duane Fetters, 61 of Michigan City, IN, Husband, father, grandfather, brother, passed away peacefully at 7:20 a.m. Sunday morning September 14, 2025 in his home with his loving wife by his side following a lengthy terminal illness. His wife provided his sole care up to his last two weeks, that were assisted by the kind and compassionate Valparaiso Hospice staff.

Ronnie was born December 18, 1963 in London Ohio to Richard and Anastassia (Tania)

Fetters. He moved to Michigan City, IN where he was employed as an aggregate specialist with Local 150 Union. He was also employed with Local 130 Union where he was a surveyor following his father's career. His passion and appreciation for music led him to be employed as a professional bass player with several bands in Michigan City area.

Ronnie was inventive, skilled, and creative with a passion for art. He loved to design and paint murals. He was meticulous with stained glass art. Ronnie had an unconditional love for his dogs Millie and Buddy, and his cat Toby that provided companionship with his retired life at home. His greatest blessing was from his loyal and devoted wife Judy who brought him great comfort and loving care in their home until his last days.

Ronnie had a love for football which led him to coaching little league football for several

years, coaching up the youth in Michigan City area.

Ronnie is sadly proceeded in death by his father Richard Fetters, his mother Anastassia (Tania) Fetters and his nephew Derek Fetters. Surviving is his wife Judy (Rudd) Fetters, His brother Allen (Julie) Fetters two sons Morgen (Sarah) Roelke, Chad Cummings, Neice Elizabeth (Nix) Morse and two grandsons Graham Ballas and Denver Roelke.

Ronnie was a devoted member of the Greek Orthodox Church where he served as an

altar boy as a child. Ronnie, a faithful servant of the Lord, spent peaceful time in his chair reading his bible at home. Ronnie entered God's eternal Kingdom on September 14, 2025. He also attended the Full Gospel Deliverance Church of Michigan City, where his Memorial will be held on Thursday September 25, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. CST. At 2700 Ohio Street Michigan City, IN.

46360. Officiating services will be Reverend Paul Pickens (# (219) 872-5683). A remembrance

and reflection dinner will follow Memorial served by the church.

We will forever remember the spark in Ronnie's eyes that would deepen into a full,

beaming smile. A light that shone from within him.
