Judith A. Goeman, age 81, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2025.
Judith was born in Marshall, Illinois, on Oct. 14, 1943, to Leon Koppler and Lila (Lee) Morrison, who preceded her in death.
Judith married the love of her life, Alfred "Gene" Goeman, on Aug. 12, 1964, in Iberia, Missouri, who also preceded her in death.
Judith is survived by her children, Troy (Dionne) and Wayne (Theresa) Goeman; grandchildren, Christopher, Nicole (Brian) Davis, Joshua (Yesenia) Goeman, Tyler (Hannah) Goeman, Emily Goeman and Kristina (Chad) Smith; nine great grandchildren; and brother, Dwane Koppler. She was also preceded in death by her grandson, Joshua Summerlin; and brother, Doit Koppler.
Judith loved camping, sewing, her family and especially her grandkids. She played a big part in helping raise her grandchildren. A special thank you to Kanin Oliver for being her best friend for the past four years and taking such good care of her.
Memorial donations may be made to the Michiana Humane Society or the VNA Hospice in Valparaiso.
Friends and family may visit with the family on Saturday, Sept. 13, 2025, at Geisen-Carlisle Funeral Home, 613 Washington St., Michigan City, Indiana, from 1 p.m. until the time of service at 3 p.m. with Pastor Jeff Fields officiating.

Judy and her husband we're our best friends,we know both of them for over 40 yrs.we would play card,go camping or just hang out,we will miss them both deeply

I knew Judy from the Medical Group I believe and she kindly made uniform tops for our office staff of the red, white and blue which we all wore proudly. That was at least 30 years ago and I still care for it deeply. Fly high Judy and rest with God
