Ronald W. Fisher, 73, of O'Fallon, IL, born September 1, 1950, in St. Louis, MO, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 21, 2024, at the Quarters of Des Peres, Des Peres, MO.
Ronald was a part of the Missouri Numismatic Society and a lifelong Democrat, he and JoAnn frequently volunteered as poll workers for both local and National elections, as well as supporting local candidates. He studied Biology at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and became a chemist and instructor for Ameren. Ronald was a huge fan of the St. Louis Cardinals, an avid conservationist, and enjoyed traveling.
Ronald is preceded in death by his wife, JoAnn (Joseph) Fisher; parents; Harry and Mildred Fisher (nee Reimers), and his brother; Don Harry Fisher.
Memorial donations may be made to the Belleville Area Humane Society https://bahspets.app.neoncrm.com/np/clients/bahspets/donation.jsp Condolences may be extended to the family online at www.schildknecht.com.
Visitation will be held on July 15, 2024, 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., at Schildknecht Funeral Home; 301 S. Lincoln Ave., O'Fallon, IL 62269. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
Burial at College Hill Cemetery in Lebanon, IL.
