Ronald Gordon, Sr. Obituary
Ronald H. Gordon, Sr., age 86, a longtime resident of Dinwiddie County, VA, passed away Monday, October 21, 2024.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rossie James Gordon and Sallie Viola Hare Gordon, and a sister, Lowana Brumley.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Mary R. “Skippy” Gordon; his sons, Ronald Hampton Gordon, Jr. and wife Delaine, and James Cochran Gordon and wife Karyn; grandchildren, Callie Luck and husband Michael, Rossie Gordon, Kendall Gordon, and Lucas Gordon; a sister, Katherine Brigman and husband Curtis, as well as a large extended family.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 25, 2024 at The Church of the Good Shepherd, McKenney, VA, with The Reverend Liam Muller, Rector, officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
Arrangements are by Williams Funeral Home & Crematory of Lawrenceville, VA.
