Ronald Paul Graham, Sr. (Ronnie) was born on October 14, 1944, in Conway, SC. He transitioned peacefully after spending his last several days surrounded by family and friends on March 21, 2025, at the age of 80.
Ronnie was known by many in the Wilmington/Brunswick County area as a trustworthy auto mechanic and owner of Graham's Garage. You could also find this name on the front of a softball shirt or side of a race car. Ronnie was not afraid to sponsor a team of young kids or grown adults. Although he was known for fixing cars, his business was also a place for friends to gather on Thursday nights. If he wasn't under the hood of a vehicle, he could be found running dogs in the deer woods or at a fox pen – a passion he whole heartedly passed on to others (young, old, boys, girls) that showed an interest.
Ronnie was known for his generosity and his ability to put a smile on your face through one of his many stories. It was fitting that his final days were spent surrounded by people he had influenced sharing stories of times they spent together.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Hazel (DeBose) Graham, his parents: Julius Pink Graham, Jr. and Irma Letha (Alford) Graham, his brothers: Larry Graham, Arnold Graham, and Donald "Duck" Graham, his sister: Elaine Graham Rogers Rouse, and two grandbabies: Matthew and MacKenzie Williams.
He leaves behind a legacy of laughter and love through his son, Paul Graham and his wife, Kathy and their boys: Jackson and Clint, his daughter, Audra Williams and husband Michael and their girls: Hannah and Morgan, his sister, Joyce Graham, sisters- in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends that were like family.
Ronnie and Hazel have been reunited and will be laid to rest in South Carolina. Details are being finalized for a Celebration of Life to be held locally for friends and family.
Funeral Arrangements are entrusted to Wilmington Funeral & Cremation - Village Road Chapel, Leland.
