Ronald Terry Grimes, 76, of Spring Hill, Florida, passed away on July 12, 2023. He was born in Houston, Texas to Vernon Thomas Grimes and Maude McNeill. He grew up in Central and South Texas and graduated from Waltrip High School in Houston. He enjoyed motorcross riding, hunting, sharing stories, and having fun with his friends and family. He was a devoted Christian, lifelong NRA member, and construction supervisor, building radio and cell towers in the telecommunications industry. He and his lovely wife, Brenda Kay Grimes, were also able to travel and live in faraway places for work. Ron and Brenda lived for over a year in Botswana, Africa; where they fell in love with the African landscape, culture, and people. They also lived in Illinois, Arizona, California, Iowa, and Georgia during his work projects.   Ron is survived by Brenda and their children; Shane, Ron, Clayton, twelve grandchildren (Phillip, Austin, Kaitlyn, Benjamin, Gianna, Abigail, Joseph, Paige, Gabriel, David, Benjamin, and Ashton), and two great grandchildren. A celebration of life memorial service is planned for this fall (date to be announced).
