Ronald Gymburch Obituary

Ronald G. Gymburch, age 68, of Rome, passed away on July 25, 2025, at Rome Health, after a brief illness.

Ron was born in Rome on February 9, 1957, to the late Alex and Mary Hitchcock Gymburch and earned his associates degree from Mohawk Valley Community College. Ron worked for New Hartford Printing and T.C. Peters Printing in Utica where he was a pre-press technician. He was a lifetime member of the Lee Center Volunteer Fire Department where he served as a truck captain and inspected the vehicles on a weekly basis.

Ron is survived by his sister, Linda (Kevin) Gallagher; his brothers, David (Norma) Gymburch, and Craig (Denise) Gymburch; several nieces and nephews; and many cousins.

Ron's memorial service will be held on Thursday at 1 PM at the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home from 11 AM to 1 PM prior to the funeral. Donations in his memory may be made to the Lee Center Volunteer Fire Department.
