Ronald Hadley

Ronald Hadley, 79 years of St. Leon, IN, passed away peacefully in his home on Monday, November 10, 2025. Born in Cincinnati, Ron spent most of his life in the rolling hills of Southeastern Indiana, including 35 years in St. Leon. He worked as a conductor for the railroad in Indianapolis until he retired more than 30 years later. During his career, he saw the railroad change names four times, starting as New York Central and ending as CSX.

Smiling Ron, as many knew him, had a big heart and genuinely wanted to help as many people as possible. If he saw a need, he would do whatever he could to help a friend or a stranger...to him it was all the same. He knew everyone needed a little help sometime. Ron looked forward to Wednesday nights when the "Belly Uppers" got together for dinner. They traversed Cincinnati going from the west side to the east side trying out new restaurants and some of their favorites. Ron was also a proud member of the Eagles in Cheviot and had a passion for doo-wop music.

Ron will be deeply missed by Judy, his wife of 58 years, son Kevin (Sue) Hadley, and grandson Dakota (Anna) Busch.
