Ronald Haines Obituary
A memorial service will begin at 1:00 PM.
Inurnment will follow at Wiltwyck Community Mausoleum.
After a long and courageous fight, surrounded by his family and wife, Ron is now getting his well deserved peace and rest. Ron was always quick to make you laugh with his jokes quick wit and sarcasm. He was an endless encyclopedia of knowledge and wisdom and almost always had the answer.
Ron spent the majority of his life as a truck driver. From moving furniture, to delivering fuel, to transporting goods all over the country, Ron saw it all and did it all. When he wasn't on the road and after his retirement Ron enjoyed his time home with his children, wife and grandchildren. Ron was the most loving father, caring husband and loving grandfather. Though we're grateful he's at peace, our hearts are broken and he will be missed deeply.
Surviving are, his wife Lorraine Haines, children, Ron (Donna) Haines, Selina Sauers, Melissa (Manuel) Steele and Brittany (John) Hildreth. Brother, Larry Haines. Several step children and many grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his parents, Mae Hoban and Royal Haines Sr., siblings Helen Wallace, Nelson Haines and Royal Haines Jr., and daughter Deborah Rodschat.
