Ronald L. (Hoppy) Harshaw, age 71, passed away on August 12, 2025, at Eastland Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Columbus, OhioRonald was born in Columbus, Ohio, he was the son of Ollie Cox and Dorothy Harshaw.Ronald attended Love Zion Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, watching his cowboys tv shows, spending time with his family, and going to the casino. He was a loving father, grandfather, and brother. He will be remembered for his outgoing personality.Ronald is preceded in death by his Grandparents Napoleon and Zuella Harshaw, parents Ollie Cox and Dorothy Harshaw, three uncles and two aunts, and brother Robert Harshaw, Sr.He is survived by his two sons; Joseph (Sandra) Johnson III, Ronald (Adjanie) Harshaw II, brothers; Pendarvis Harshaw, Sr, James Thompson, and Kelvin Morse, Grandchildren; Jei’Erra Johnson, Dai’ja Roberts, Tina Johnson, Kyshen Johnson, Great Grandchildren; Jermain Johnson, Legend Roberts, and Kairo Roberts, special Aunt; Betty Greer, and special niece; Shrree (Earl) Brown, He also leaves to cherish a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.Services entrusted to Families First Cremation and Funeral at Edwards

There will be a visitation held on Friday August 29, 2025 at 10am with a chapel service to begin at 12pm.  Services will be held at 1166 Parsons Ave, Columbus, Ohio 43206
