Ellen Louise “Sis” (Humphrey) Bowen, age 54, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on August 26, 2025. She was born on February 24, 1971, in Columbus, Ohio, daughter of Emma Jane (Timmons) Humphrey and Ralph Edward Humphrey.
Ellen loved to go fishing, dancing, listening to music, and the Ohio State Buckeyes.
Ellen is survived by her children, Tabitha (Alamgir) Bowen Mahfuz, Ashley (Nathan) Smith, Billie (Zachary) Grover, Cassandra Jones, Joshua Jones, William Jones, and Brittney Scott; grandchildren, Jordan Webber, Collin Bowen, Amira Smith, Sophia Grover, Delilah Grover, and Tristan Grover; brothers, Allen (Jodell) Humphrey, Michael Humphrey, and Jeffrey Humphrey; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, Clyde “Butch” Scott; brother, Ralph Humphrey jr.; and niece, Abbigale Humphrey.
Ellen will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
