Ronald Headrick Obituary
Ronald is survived by his wife of 65 years, Dimple Jeanette Hefner Headrick. He is also survived by a daughter, Ruth Gaddis; a son, Ronald Jr. and Lisa Morgan; as well as grandchildren, Sarah and Doug Wilson, Meghan and Stephan Herbel, Olivia and Brandon Bearden; and great grandchildren, MJ Wilson, Natalie Wilson, Jessie Bearden, and Arthur Herbel.
Ronald loved hunting, fishing, reading, Civil War history, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He loved old time John Wayne western movies. Ronald's entire life was spent in the construction field doing all sorts of jobs that included laborer, foreman, supervisor, expeditor, estimator, and draftsman. Many commercial buildings and residential homes in and around Dalton and Chattanooga have his mark on them. Ronald loved teaching and sharing his knowledge with anyone that would listen. He taught Dalton College Architectural Drafting courses, as well as, a semester at Calhoun High School for Architectural drafting. He was a great teller of stories about life experiences.
Ronald is preceded in death by his mother and father, Fred and Rosa Headrick; siblings, Kathryn Love, Dorothy Owen, Juanita Mansfield, Betty Elrod, Ellen Harris, Virginia Harper, James Headrick, Thomas Headrick, Jeffrey Headrick, and Jack Headrick.
Further extending his family ties, Ronald is also survived by multiple nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the family's home on a future date to be determined.

If Ronald was a graduate of Dalton High we were in the same class. We try to keep up with our graduating class, both those still here and those who have moved away. If he is part of the 1958 graduates of DHS, he is one of ours and his family has our deepest sympathy and prayers.
