Ronald Lee Henderson, 62, of Shenandoah, passed away Thursday, April 3, 2025 at his home. He was born April 26, 1962 in Luray and was the son of Io Martin Henderson and the late Rondel Henderson.
Ronald graduated from Page County High School. He worked at the Department of Corrections, Walker Manufacturing and worked at Stanley Elementary as a custodian. He previously owned and operated a lawn care service and a pork rind business. He retired as a bus driver for Page County Public Schools. He was a life time member for the Stanley Volunteer Fire Department. He was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Shenandoah. His favorite past time was doing jigsaw puzzles. He loved his family very much and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his son, Martin Henderson and wife, Joyce; sisters, Sharon Henderson, Tammy Rhinehart and husband, Danny; godson, Christopher Stallard, step-son, Derrick Mauck and wife, Cassie; grandchildren, Aiden Henderson and Delana Henderson; step-grandchildren, Mackenzie Mauck and Mackayla Mauck; nephew, Daniel Rhinehart and wife, Danielle; niece, Melissa Eppard and husband, Brent; aunt, Nancy Blakemore as well as numerous extended family and friends.
A Funeral Service will be conducted 11 a.m., Monday, April 7, 2025 at Kyger Funeral Home in Elkton with Pastor Jimmy Kite officiating. Burial will be private at Sam Comer Cemetery in Shenandoah.
A Visitation will be held 10 to 11 a.m., Monday, April 7, 2025 at the funeral home prior to the service.
Friends and family are welcome to visit the home of his mother at any time at 1007 River Rd., Stanley, Va.

I am so shocked. While I didn't know Ronnie like I did Sharon and Tammy, I knew him through the stories his sisters shared. My prayers are with all those who knew and loved him.
