Robert Joseph Dobscha

Robert Dobscha, 62, of Elkton, passed away Thursday, September 11, 2025 at his home. He was born January 19, 1963 in Maryland and was the son of Donna Lee Walters Loyd and the late Jacob Paul "Jack" Dobscha, Jr.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his son, Mike Dobscha.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Nileen Gail Hensley Dobscha; son, Jacob Dobscha and wife, Jodi of Bridgewater; daughters, Jessica Dobscha of Broadway and Corissa Richmond of Harrisonburg; daughter-in-law, Christin Bateman of New York; brother, Richard Dobscha of McGaheysville; sister, Susan Kavaky and husband, Gary of Southern Maryland; grandchildren, Rissa-Jo, Matthew, Gabriel, Lillian, Selah, Alexander, Abella, Elizabeth, Addison and Austin.

Robert loved spending time with his family and always made an effort to see all of his grandchildren's school plays and concerts. He made sure to tell each kid how much he loved them and how proud he was of them. He also enjoyed his time playing bass and singing most recently with The Mix.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Blue Ridge Independent Church in Elkton, on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at 2 p.m.
