Mr. Ronnie Holman, age 75, of Woodburn, KY, passed away on Friday, January 3, 2025 at the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green, KY.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 9, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory. Funeral services will be held the same day, Thursday, January 9th at 2:00 PM at the funeral home with interment to follow in Sulphur Spring Cemetery in Simpson County, KY.

Ronnie was born on July 22, 1949 in Franklin, KY to the late Jesse O’Neal Holman and the late Gladys (Dorris) Holman.

He is survived by a sister, Peggy Farley of Woodburn, KY; 3 nephews, Kevin Farley of Franklin, KY, David Farley (Angela) of Wyandotte, Michigan and Scott Farley of Black Mountain, NC; 1 niece, Susanna Daleure of Franklin, KY; 4 great-nieces and nephews; and several cousins.

Ronnie was a 1967 graduate of Franklin-Simpson High School. In high school he played basketball and baseball and was President of the FFA. He was a past president of the Jaycee’s and was a Mason. Ronnie was a carpenter and owned and operated Ronnie Holman Contracting. He enjoyed golfing and farming, raising a small herd of cattle for over 35 years. Ronnie loved repairing and building things.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Hospice of Southern Kentucky, 5872 Scottsville Road, Bowling Green, KY 42104. Envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.
