Ronald Howard Jenness

Ronald Howard Jenness, 88, passed away on January 31, 2026. He was born on July 8, 1937, in Boston, Massachusetts, to the late Charles Howard Jenness and Ola Jenness (Hopkin).

Ronald grew up in Raymond and Deerfield, New Hampshire, before proudly serving his country in the National Guard. During his service, he was stationed in Montana, where he met the love of his life, Dolores. The two were married and raised their family in Montana. Dolores predeceased him, and Ronald carried her memory with him always.

A lifelong truck driver, Ronald was known for his strong work ethic and his ability to fix just about anything. He loved working with his hands, building his home, splitting wood, and tackling any project along the way. He had a passion for Harley-Davidson motorcycles and enjoyed taking rides wherever the road would lead him.

Above all else, Ronald loved his family deeply. In the last four years of his life, he returned to Deerfield so he could spend more time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to his beloved wife Dolores, Ronald was predeceased by his daughter, Rita Gagne.

He is survived by his daughter Penny Winship, his son Ronald "Rick" Jenness, and his daughter Cindy Zwicke; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and his close and dear friend, Nellie Rollins.
