Ronald Jones

Ronald James Jones "Squirrel",55, was born June 25, 1969, in Lake Charles, Louisiana to Junius Jones and Dorothy Orphey. A life long resident of Lake Charles, he was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. He worked at several gas stations along Highway 171, he and his dog. He departed this life Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at 11:35 AM in a local hospital. He leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Dorothy Orphey Payne; sisters, Barbara Ann Jones, Sandra (Mark) Francis, Denise Marie Jones, and Saprina (Alfred) Payne; brother, Kenneth Jones; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by father, Junius Jones; brothers, Irvin Jones and Ned Jones Jr. His visitation will be Thursday, October 10, 2024, from 12:00 noon with his funeral following at 2PM, at James Funeral Home located at 1801 Moeling Street in Lake Charles.
