Ronald Lee Kasten, 90, of Washington, MO passed away Friday, March 13, 2026.

He is survived by his wife, Lois Kasten (nee' Grotelueschen) of Washington; three children: Nathan Kasten and wife Kathy of Sapulpa, OK, Lenore Berlinski and husband Mark of Murphy, NC, and Claire Knehans and husband Mark of Villa Ridge; daughter-in-law, Julie Kasten of Dover, DE; eight grandchildren: Hannah Shyaan, Ryan, Jacob (Lauren), Adam (Clare), Nicholas (Sarah), Matthew (Hannah), and Henry (Meredith); six great-grandchildren: Judah, Violet, Walter, Launhardt, Madeline, and Margaret; two sisters: Janice Flentke of St. Peters and Lois Jobe of Ballwin; sister-in-law, Joan Grotelueschen of Phoenix, AZ; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mr. Kasten was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Edna (nee' Holle) Kasten; parents-in-law, Paul and Esther (nee' Kuehnert) Grotelueschen; four brothers-in-law: Mark Grotelueschen (in-infancy), Ronald Brockman, Richard "Dick" Flentke, Robert "Bob" Jobe, and Paul Grotelueschen; and his sister-in-law, Ruth Hohenstein (late husband Herb).

Memorial visitation for 90-year-old Ronald Kasten will be held from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM on Friday, April 17, 2026 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Washington, MO. Funeral services will follow at 10:30 AM at the church with Rev. Craig Wehmeyer officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church.

The Kasten family is served by Oltmann Funeral Home in Washington, MO.
