Ronald Kenoly Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Oak Ridge Funeral Care - Haines City on Feb. 17, 2026.
With heavy hearts, our family shares that our beloved father, Dr. Ron Kenoly, affectionately known to so many as "Doc," transitioned from this life on February 3, 2026, in Davenport, Florida.

To the world, he was a renowned praise and worship leader whose voice and ministry helped shape the sound of worship for generations. To his family, he was simply Dad-a man of deep conviction, humor, strength, and love, whose presence could settle a room without him ever raising his voice.

Doc's life was marked by unwavering faith and a sincere love for people. He carried a rare gift: the ability to lead others into worship with authenticity, power, and joy. His worship was never performance-it was devotion. Whether on a global stage or at home with family, his heart remained the same.

Over the course of his life and ministry, Dr. Ron touched countless lives through his music, leadership, and testimony. His songs became anthems across churches, nations, and cultures. Yet even with worldwide influence, he remained grounded in what mattered most-his love for God, his family, and the people he served.

He was preceded in death by Joshua Willis Kenoly Jr., Edith Odessa Kenoly, Jerry Wayne Kenoly, and Joshua Willis Kenoly 3rd.He is survived by his siblings, Wendell Ellis Kenoly, Mark Allen Kenoly, and Craig Steven Kenoly, and by his children Lawrence Kenoly (Tony), Ronald Joshua Kenoly (Bingo), and Samuel Ramon Kenoly (Sam); 14 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchild, along with a wide circle of family, friends, and spiritual sons and daughters around the world who will forever cherish his memory and carry forward the legacy of his worship.

In this time of grief, the family is deeply grateful for the outpouring of love, prayers, and support being shown. Continued prayers are appreciated as the family honors a life that truly poured itself out for others.
