Ronald L. Knudsen "Poppy" age 82 passed away Thursday August 21, 2025. Son of the late Norman and Louise (Kleppe) Knudsen. Dear husband of the late Clova. Stepfather of Eric Bogar (Sandra), Jason Bogar (Ginnie) and the late Joseph. Father of Nelson (Cyndi), Brad (Christine), Raymond (the late Darlene). Brother of Marilyn Diekman and the late Lyle, Laverne Tolsma, Darlene Kotalac, and Shirley Hill. Brother-in-law of Debra Nowak. Uncle to many including Megan (Patrick) and Mikey-God son. Grandfather of Erika "Baby Girl", Ryan, Aiden, Annelise, Clovie, Cierra (Jeff), Zachory, Kirstin, Cole, Alyssa, Joshua, Jacob, and Olivia. Ronald was a loyal person who could build anything, he was a great machine operator over his career and enjoyed woodworking. Four favorites in Ron's life were Clova, smoking, lottery, and gambling!!!! A gathering and celebration of life will be held Saturday September 6, 2025, 1pm – 5pm at the Brunswick Eagles 349 Pearl Rd. Brunswick, Ohio (front hall).
