Ronald Lafleur Obituary
Deacon Gary Gaudin will conduct funeral services.
Burial will take place in New St. Ann's Cemetery.
Ronald Ray Lafleur was born on January 3, 1964, in Mamou, LA to Clayton and Shirley Vidrine Fontenot. He enjoyed spending time outdoors hunting, fishing, and doing mechanic work. His greatest joy was spending time with his family. He will be deeply missed by him family, friends and all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Barbara Lafleur of Mamou; daughter, Crystal Lafleur of Mamou; stepdaughters, Melissa Pommier and husband, Tony of Vidrine and Billie Coker and husband, David of Eunice; three stepsons, Mitchell Castille and wife Pam of Ville Platte, August Castille, Jr. of Ville Platte and Kevin Castille and wife, Kristie of Reddell; seventeen grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren and two brothers, Curtis Fontenot of Mamou and Gregory Fontenot and wife, Tammy of Mamou.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Clayton and Shirley Vidrine Fontenot; stepson, John Clay "Kippy" Castille; granddaughter, Kaylee Fontenot; two brothers, Chris Fontenot and Clayton Fontenot, Jr.; and infant grandchildren.
At the request of the family, visitation will be observed at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Mamou on Friday, January 21, 2022, from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM. A rosary will be prayed by Deacon Gary Gaudin on Friday at 4:30 PM. Visitation will resume Saturday, January 22, 2022, from 8:00 AM until time of service.
