Ardoin's Funeral Home - MamouBeverly Ann Foret, born on Wednesday, November 11, 1953, in Eunice, Louisiana, left this world on Sunday, November 2, 2025, in Lafayette, Louisiana. Beverly's compassionate nature and unwavering commitment to spreading joy made a lasting impact on everyone she met. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at St. Ann Catholic Church at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow in Reed Cemetery with Fr. Hampton Davis officiating services.
Beverly was a beloved Patient Activity Director at Savoy Care Center, dedicating her career to ensuring that the residents remained active, smiling, and healthy. Beyond her professional life; she cherished participating in activities such as bingo and Pokeno and other card games, and was often enjoying precious moments with her grandchildren. Beverly was renowned for her cooking skills, particularly her delicious fried chicken, sticky chicken, and anything smothered in gravy, which made family gatherings truly special.
Beverly is survived by her three loving daughters, Suzanne Duplechian, Carla Vidrine (Mitch), and Kathy Dupre (Tim), and one son, Joseph "T-Will" Foret. She delighted in her role as a grandmother to Paige Duplechian, Wyatt Duplechian, Bailey Vidrine, Preslie Leonards, Kortney Theriot, Brendon Dupre, Korey Dupre, Sara Dupre, Collin Dupre, Drew Foret, and Lexie Fuselier. Beverly also leaves behind her great grandchildren, Charlie, Lizzie, Raven, Ellison, Decker, Mary Elizabeth, Lydia, Charlotte, John Lawarence, Luke, Ezra, Emmett, Jude, and Juan; brother, Ricky Fruge; and sisters, Jackie McBride and Geraldine Fruge.
Beverly was preceded in death by her loving husband, Mike Foret; parents, Melvin Fruge and Jane Carrier Fruge; brother, Russell Fruge; sister, Pasty Fruge; and great-grandchild, Weston Foret.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during a visitation at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Mamou on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and again on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, from 8:00 AM until time of service.
