Born in Germany and raised in St. Augustine, Butch worked in the construction industry until he sustained life-altering injuries in an automobile accident in 1988. Despite the challenges he faced, Butch will be remembered for his love of cars and his passion for loud rock music.
He is survived by his mother, Bets Blalock; his father, Ronald J. Learn; his sisters, Rhonda Jean Hendricks, Angela Chardonnay, Amanda Learn, Kristal Learn, Cody Learn, Sara Learn; his brothers, Richard Learn, Jimmy Blalock; and many loving nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at St. Johns Family Funeral Home in St. Augustine. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
