Ronald "Ronnie" Gordon Ledford, 66, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away Friday, August 15, 2025, at his residence.

He was born January 22, 1959, in Gaston Co, NC, son of the late William Richard Ledford and Julia Gordon Ledford.

Ronnie is with the Lord walking on gold with his parents. He was a member of Dallas Church of God, and attended East Coast Bible College. Ronnie worked as a security officer at Matthews Belk for over 37 plus years, and graduated from North Gaston Highschool. He was a devout Christian and led many people to the Lord.

He is survived by his loving wife, Judy Ledford for over 37 years; godchildren, Paislee Grace Locker, Amber Purdy and her daughter Raelynn Purdy; fur babies, Leopold, Clementine, and Cooper; siblings, Beverly Ledford Ensley (Joe), William Richard Ledford Jr. (Beth), and Julia Elizabeth "Beth" Ledford Sisk (Ronnie); special cousin, Bobbie Purdy; numerous brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law; and several nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends 6-8pm, Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at Dallas Church of God - 311 S College St, Dallas, NC 28034. A funeral service officiated by Pastor Brandon Cassell, will be held 11am, Wednesday, at the church. Burial will follow the service at Hardin Baptist Church Cemetery - 548 Hardin Rd, Dallas, NC 28034.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to, Dallas Church of God - 311 S College St, Dallas, NC 28034.
