RONALD J. LESKOVEC age 78, beloved husband for 50 years of Margaret “Peggy” (nee Schofield); loving father of Lora Gaddis (husband Joel), Joseph (wife Aleigh), twins Timothy (wife Rochelle) and Thomas (wife Denise) and the late baby Michael (twin of Joseph); devoted grandfather of Colin and Kathleen Gaddis, twins Madison and Michael, Ryann, Bailey, Wyatt, Eloise, Patrick and Piper and great-grandfather of Wesley; cherished son of the late Anthony and Helen (nee Stempel); dearest brother of Beverly Siebert (husband Frank deceased), Robert and the late William; dear uncle and great-uncle of many. Preceded in death by his canine companion Dash.

Ron was born August 2, 1945 in Cleveland, Ohio and graduated in 1963 from Max Hayes High School. He dedicated 36 years of his life to General Motors as an assembler and was a long-standing member of the UAW.  The Cleveland professional teams – Browns, Indians and Cavs – held high interest for Ron.  If he wasn’t attending their game, he would be watching on television.  Personally, he enjoyed participating in the games of bowling, softball and golf and listening to polka music.  Above all, Ron was a family man, who cherished the time he devoted to his wife, children and grandchildren.  He passed away on May 25, 2024 and will be missed and lovingly remembered by his family and friends.

Prayers of Christian Burial Friday, May 31, 2024 AT THE FUNERAL HOME at 10AM. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Ron at THE DeJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATIONS CENTER OF CHESTERLAND 12811 CHILLICOTHE ROAD (Rt. 306, just south of Mayfield Rd.)
