Ronald Lee Lientz, 76, of Mecca, passed away July 28, 2021, at St. Vincent Heart Hospital in Carmel. Born October 1, 1944, he was the son of Lester and Elsie Doan Lientz. He married Nancy Fowler on August 30, 1968; she survives.
Ronald graduated from Mecca High School in 1962 and served in the U.S. Army. He was a 25-year employee of CF Industries in Terre Haute and worked for Dale Warnick Chevrolet for 23 years.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy of Mecca; 3 daughters, Lee Pharr of Mecca, Carrie (Rick) Morgan of Clinton, and Mika (C. J.) Gould of Rockville; 10 grandchildren, Grace, Ava, Eli, Courtney, Heidi (Russell), Gary Michael, Jersei, Ty, Tucker and Tinslee and 1 great-granddaughter, Eliie Joy. Also surviving are a sister, Shirlene Lientz; 4 sisters-in-law, Carolyn Braner, Claudia (Jack) Haughee, Pam Davies, and Mary Lientz; special family member, Kym (Delmar) Collom and lots of nieces and nephews.
Ronald is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Bob and Murrel Lientz and sisters, Yvonne Payton, Marge Dill and Maxine Ratcliff.
Visitation will be Friday, July 30, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Barnes and Rice Funeral Home, 111 East High Street, Rockville. Cremation has been chosen with inurnment in Beacon Hill Cemetery at a later date.
