Ronald Brooke Lillquist died October 16, 2024. He was born November 21, 1933 in Schenectady, New York. He was the son of Brook and Marie Lillquist. Ron graduated from East High in Denver, Colorado. He then enlisted in the air force for 4 years. Where he was stationed in France. Ron then went to Siena college where he graduated with a bachelor's degree in economics. Ron married Joan Ann Lindahl in 1969, They were married 55 years. Ron and Joan then moved to Liverpool and then to Baldwinsville. Baldwinsville was their home for 32 years. Ron and Joan liked to travel. They traveled across country to Alaska. They visited every state but Hawaii in their travels. Ron loved his motorcycles. One trip Ron and Joan traveled to Tennessee on a Harley Davidson. Ron loved to dance, every Saturday night Ron and Joan would go out and dance to country music. First ones on the dance floor and would dance till the band quit. Ron loved to play piano and loved music. He always had music playing at home and in the car. Ron had a great sense of humor. He could make you laugh and enjoyed doing it. Ron is predeceased by his mother Marie, Father Brook, and brother Glen. He is survived by his wife Joan Ann, very dear friends Mary Jo and Bob Clark, brother Robert (Patty), sister-in-law Mary, and several nieces and nephews. There will be no services. Ron will be buried in the VA cemetery at a later date. Many thanks for the care that Ron received at Crouse Hospital.
