He was always proud to be a Parshall Brave and loved the school's purple and white colors. In his younger years, he boxed with the Parshall Boxing Club alongside his brothers and cousins. He enjoyed visiting with his clients and traveling around. Unfortunately, due to an injury, he had no choice but to retire. Ronnie loved to laugh and have a good time. He earned the nicknames "Sammy" and "Tucson" and enjoyed teasing his family and friends. Some of his memorable sayings included, "The Next Native American Idol," "Thank God I am an athlete," and "That would kill a normal man!" As a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan, Ronnie loved to engage in playful banter during the Cowboys' games. He was often found curled up in his chair with his dog, Diamond, who was his inseparable companion. Being around his family and friends brought Ronnie great joy. He cherished family gatherings in both North Dakota and Arizona, enjoyed going to the lake, and loved barbecuing in his backyard. He also liked entertaining those around him and singing karaoke.
