A memorial service for Mr. Ronald Malone, 76, of Sterlington, LA, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, July 9, 2023, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd., with Rev. Larry Parks and Parker Haile officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. until service time at the funeral home.
Ronnie was born August 15, 1946, in Monroe, LA, and passed away in his home on July 6, 2023, after a lengthy illness. Ronnie loved driving around town and visiting with friends, which were many. He always had a story or advice for everyone. He loved many and many loved him. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Mr. Malone was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ernest Hooper (Pawpaw) and L.V. Hooper (Granny); mother, Flo Fitch; father, Hill Malone, Jr.; granddaughter, Megan Jackson; and mother-in-law, Alpha Dickey.
Survivors include his wife, Debra Malone; daughters, Jami Champlin (Sarah), Tracy Day (Terry), and Tana Malone Burroughs; brother, Jimmy Fitch; grandchildren; one great grandchild; and numerous other family members.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the charity of your choice.
