Ronald Miesner

Ronald Miesner, 50 of Ankeny, Iowa passed away on Thursday July 27, 2023, at 10:15am. Ron had a short but brave and hard-fought battle with kidney cancer. He was born September 12, 1972, in Des Moines, Iowa to Shelia Corley. Ron married Angela Tedder in 1990, and together they had one son Anthony Miesner. They later divorced. Ron married Suzette McCarthy in 1998, and together they had one daughter Claire Miesner. Ron was an avid Dallas Cowboys and New York Yankees fan. His life was dedicated to his family and enjoyed spending quality time with them. He was truly an exceptional husband, dad, and papa. He leaves behind a legacy of selflessness and compassion. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him. Ron is survived by his wife: Suzette Miesner of Ankeny; One Son: Anthony Miesner (Sara Click); One Daughter: Claire Miesner; One Grandson: Michael Miesner (MJ); Mother and Father-In-Law: Cindy and Bruce Hunsaker; Many cousins including Kimberly Wilson. Ron was preceded in death by his mother and 2 sisters.
