Ronald L. Miller Jr., 61, passed away peacefully at home December 29, 2024 surrounded by his family. Born in Barberton, Ohio to Ron Miller Sr. and Jackie Farnsworth, he resided in Akron most of his adult life. A graduate of Garfield High School, Ron proudly served in the U. S. Marine Corps for "8 days shy of 12 years". He was a member of Connect Church in Coventry, where he served as a Deacon. Ron enjoyed building aircraft models, singing in the church choir, watching football, going on vacations and spending time with his family.
Ron will be sadly missed by his wife of 28 years, Tammy; children, Ronald (Tram) Miller III, Jennifer (Shawn) Jessel, Johnathan Miller, Amanda Miller, Tiffany Miller (Christian Estright); grandchildren, Cody, Amelia, Anna, Cooper, Brooke, Marjie; siblings, Laura (Scot) Galart, James Miller; many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to visit Tuesday, January 7, 2025 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd. The funeral service will take place Wednesday, January 8 at 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Hillside Memorial Park. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Ron's name to Connect Church, 578 Killian Rd., Akron, OH 44319.
