Ron was born on October 3, 1943, in Minneapolis and died unexpectedly on October 18, 2025, in St. Louis Park. He was a long-time resident of North Minneapolis, graduating from North High in 1961.
Ron served with honor in the U.S. Air Force as an Air Policeman. Career highlights include General Mills, Henkel, and finally, 20+ years with Pohlad Companies. He was a part-time bartender at Dick's Bar and 25 years with Chester Bird 523 American Legion. Ron was a 40-year member of Chester Bird.
Ron was preceded by wife Krissy; parents Reyes and Dorothy Miranda; daughter Kimberly; sisters Connie, Delores, Victoria and Juanita. He is survived by wife Terri; son Andrew; brothers Gary (Carol), Tony (Karen) and Rick (Cyd); step-siblings; Danny (Kyung) and Mary Lou, "adopted daughter" Rose Peterson; Aunt Ruth; and many nieces, nephews and in-laws.
He enjoyed going to movies, casinos, bingo, traveling out of state to visit family, loved to dance (women lined up to dance with him) and watching old TV Westerns like Gunsmoke and Bonanza.
Ronnie loved life and his family above all and will be missed forever until we meet him again in heaven. He was loved by all who knew him.
Interment Crystal Lake Cemetery. Service Thursday, November 6 at 11:00am with visitation one hour prior at Washburn-McReavy Crystal Lake Chapel 3816 Penn Avenue North, Minneapolis. Luncheon to follow at Chester Bird American Legion Post 523 8900 Golden Valley Road, Golden Valley.
