Ronald Wayne Moore, beloved husband, father, grandfather, family member, and friend, passed away on January 4, 2026, at the age of 74.
Ronald was born on February 7, 1951, in Meridian, Mississippi. He proudly served his country as a Chief Warrant Officer with the Georgia Army National Guard, an experience that shaped his strong sense of duty, integrity, and quiet strength. His military service remained an important part of who he was, and his family is deeply grateful for the honor of recognizing that service.
Ronald was known for his strong work ethic and his lifelong love for the Georgia Bulldogs. He enjoyed reading, hunting and fishing and was a car enthusiast.
He is survived by his loving wife, Bronwyn Moore of Carrollton, Georgia; his children, Jenna Johnson (Brad) of Covington, Georgia, Lauryl Burnett (Wesley) of Stockbridge, Georgia, Ryan Moore of West Palm Beach, Florida, and Mitchell Moore of Carrollton, Georgia; his grandchildren, Paige Yarbrough, Karley Johnson, Lane Burnett, and Jase Burnett; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ronald and Daphne Moore; his sister, Sharon Thrasher; and his brothers, Phillip Moore and Scott Moore.
A visitation will be held on January 21, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. with a memorial service to follow at 11:00 a.m. at Martin and Hightower Funeral Home in Carrollton, Georgia. Military honors will be rendered in recognition of Ronald's service to his country at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia, at 3:00 p.m.
The family wishes to thank all those who have offered support, kindness, and condolences during this difficult time. Ronald Wayne Moore will be remembered with love, respect, and gratitude for a life lived in service to others.
