Ronald B. Patton, Jr. departed this life peacefully on April 17th at his home in Bear, Delaware. He was born on June 24th, 1967, to Ronald B. Patton, Sr., and Debra J. Moss Scott. He was raised in Wilmington, Delaware, where he actively embraced life. Ron was baptized on November 9th, 1977 at Union Baptist Church.
Ronald was a proud graduate of the Wallace Wallin School in New Castle, Delaware, in 1988. He was an enthusiastic participant in both the Boy Scouts and the Special Olympics, demonstrating his determination and zest for life. He received certificates of award for his outstanding classwork and participation in the Special Olympics Training program. Additionally, Ron was a devoted fan of the Dallas Cowboys.
Ronald's loving nature radiated through his affection for others. He contributed his cheerful spirit while working at Friendly’s Restaurant for a short time. His passions for singing and dancing, coupled with his remarkable talent for imitation, allowed him to uplift those around him. He found joy in comforting others and filling their lives with laughter.
He is lovingly remembered by his father, Ronald B. Patton, Sr. (Darlene); his mother, Debra J. Moss Scott (Charleston); his siblings; Kristen Patton- Croner (William), Felicia Smith-Hall, Marvin Scott, John Scott, Nikki Briscoe, Charlotte Scott; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives who cherish his memory.
Ronald has been reunited with his brother; Ronald D. Berry and his beloved grandparents; Beatrice Patton-Hill, Estella Moss Shorter (Bill), and Reuben Moss.
Ronald will be deeply missed and forever remembered for the love, joy, and light he brought into the lives of others.
