Ronald Lee Perryman, a devoted father, grandfather, and community leader, passed away peacefully on August 23, 2025, at the age of 94. He was born on December 27, 1930, in Festus, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents, Philip Perryman and Delia (Bittick) Perryman; his wife of 61 years, Dorothy Jean Mabery; and his eldest daughter, Ronda Gruhala. He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Philip Perryman “Junior”, Dolores Engel, and Shirley Murray.

He was a member of Farmington Christian Church. He was a preacher, teacher, and leader for several groups and organizations, taking advantage of every opportunity to share God’s Word. He was a true servant of God, considering it his mission to help others in need. He loved music and spending time with his family and friends of which he had many. Ron had a distinguished 29-year military career in the United States Army, including 6 months of service in Vietnam. He retired with the rank of Chief Warrant Officer 2 (CW2), leaving behind a legacy of leadership and dedication.

Ron is survived by his children, Rick (Holly) Perryman of St. Peters, Carol (Chuck) Simpson of Ballwin, Jim (Patti) Perryman of Pacific, Jan Beckett (Kenny Sitzes) of Fredericktown; son-in-law, Greg (Dena) Gruhala of Farmington; 14 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home - Taylor Chapel in Farmington on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, from 5 PM until 8 PM. Visitation will resume on Thursday September 4, 2025, from 9 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM with Reverend Alan Berry officiating. Interment will follow at St. Francois Memorial Park Cemetery in Bonne Terre. Memorials can be made to: Veterans of Foreign Wars or American Legion.
