Charles "Frank” Kimpel, 90, of Farmington passed away August 5, 2025 at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus. He was born September 1, 1934 in Louisville, KY to the late Charles Alvin and Margie Evelyn (Harbin) Kimpel. Frank managed a scrap yard in Michigan for 21 years. He then disassembled the scrap yard and moved it to Louisianna. After retirement, he moved to Farmington where he and his wife, JoAnna refinished and sold furniture.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by several siblings.
Frank is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, JoAnna (Weatherford) Kimpel; children, Jessie “Scott” Wright, Krystal Stevens, Nathan Kimpel (Jeri Lynn), Micah Kimpel (Bobbie), Abigail Koehn (Matther); 23 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; sisters, Pat and Sharon; two brothers; Joe Kimpel, Malcolm Kimpel. Many other family and friends also survive.
Arrangements are under the direction of C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home - Taylor Chapel in Farmington.
