Jimmy Hicks Obituary

Jimmy Lawson Hicks, 76, of Farmington passed away February 22, 2026. He was born July 7, 1949, in Corning, AR to the late Gerald and Mildred (Adams) Hicks. Jimmy proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, carrying that sense of duty and patriotism throughout his life. A faithful member of First Baptist Church of DeSoto, he found strength in his faith and community. He retired after many dedicated years with Chrysler, where he was known for his strong work ethic and reliability. In his free time, he found simple joy in working in his yard and mowing the grass, taking pride in keeping his home and surroundings neat and well cared for.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Dale Hicks and brother-in-law, Randy Throckmorton.

Jimmy is survived by his wife, Vicki (Hargrove) Hicks; three children, Jeffrey (Angela) Hicks, Jamie (Michael) Tullock, Corey Hicks; seven grandchildren, Cody Hicks, Amber Hicks, Emma Tullock, Sophie Tullock, Lawson Hicks, Bella Hicks and Ryan Inman; siblings, Terry (Renae) Hicks, Mack (Judy) Hicks, Karen Throckmorton; sister-in-law, Carolyn Hicks; brother-in-law, Donald (Judy) Anderson. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation will be held at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home – Taylor Chapel in Farmington on Thursday, March 5, 2026 from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM. Interment with full military honors will take place at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery on Thursday at 1:30 PM. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
