Ronald "Ron" Pierceall

Ronald "Ron" Pierceall, age 65, of Port Charlotte, FL formerly of St. Louis, MO and Hannibal, MO passed away Sunday, April 6, 2025, at Gulf Coast Medical Service in Fort Meyers, FL.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 am Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at Holy Family Catholic Church. Father Greg Meystrik will officiate. Burial will follow in the Holy Family Catholic Cemetery.
The family is being served by the Smith Funeral Home & Chapel of Hannibal.
Ronald "Ron" was born on January 17, 1960, in Hannibal, MO the son of Harold and Edna (Oday) Pierceall.
He was united in marriage to Jane Renfrow on March 6, 1999, at Queen of All Saints Catholic Church in St. Louis, MO.
Survivors include his wife, Jane Pierceall of the home, two sons, Charlie Pierceall of Ballwin, MO, Johnathan "J.C." Tinker and wife Lauren of St.Peters, MO; two brothers, Jim Pierceall and wife Pam of The Villages, FL, Jack Pierceall of Hannibal, MO; two sisters, Lori Fohey and husband Mark of Hannibal, MO and Barb Pierceall of Bradenton, FL, two grandchildren, Ava and Vinny. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, stepson, Matthew Spencer and sister-in-law, Kristi Pierceall.
Ron graduated from Hannibal High School and went on to further his education at Truman State University earning a Bachelor's Degree in Communications.
Ron began his career at Southwestern Bell as a lineman and then worked his way up to area manager for AT&T (formally known as Southwestern Bell).
Ron was a member of The Knights of Columbus Council 907, Moose Club, Elk's Club and was a proud member of Queen of All Saints Catholic Church.
As the official photographer for the SGC Yacht Club, Ron captured more than just images-he captured memories, community, and the joy of life on the water with his family and friends.
Ron's passions were as wide as the open sea. He loved fishing, boating, traveling, and sharing laughter with friends during game nights or at the Elk Club on Friday evenings. His greatest joy, however, was found in the moments spent with his grandchildren and at family gatherings, where stories, smiles, and love flowed freely.
Rooted deeply in his Catholic faith, Ron lived with a quiet strength and a generous heart. His childhood friendships remained a cornerstone of his life, reflecting his loyalty and capacity for lifelong connection.
Ron leaves behind a legacy of kindness, humor, and unwavering love-a man who cherished simple pleasures and the people around him. His lens may be still now, but the memories he gave us will remain in focus forever. As one of Ron's favorite quotes, "I am so glad you were able to see me". Ron, WE are all so glad we were able to see you!
Honorary Pallbearers will be Tom Murphy, Mark Fohey, Steve Wallitch, the late Bob Willett and the late Bill Willett.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Knights of Columbus Council #907, in care of Smith Funeral Home & Chapel.
