One of eleven children, he was born April 6, 1951, in Lafayette, IN, to the late Carson and Stella (Whitaker) Reece.
On November 3, 1979, he married Gayle Michael in Linden. She preceded him in death on April 8, 2020.
Ronald worked as a Union Sheet Metal Worker for Local #20 Union for many years before retiring in 2005.
He was a 50 year member of Local #20 Sheet Metal Workers Union and enjoyed gardening, feeding the wildlife, watching westerns and Andy Griffith.
Surviving is a daughter, Janelle (Shane) Hegg of Fowler, a son, Jack (fiancé Nichole Runkle) Reece of Lafayette, four grandchildren, Ian Hegg, Olivia (Caddin) Schieler, Elijah (Emma) Hegg and Cody (fiancé Brianna) Reece. Also surviving are eleven great grandchildren.
