Ronald "Ronnie" Reumuth

Ronald "Ronnie" Reumuth passed away November 3, 2025. He was born in 1936 to Joseph and Neva Reumuth. He was the last surviving of his siblings Stephen Reumuth, Fran Schramel and Elizabeth Landesman.

Ronnie is survived by his wife Pamela, and children David (Karen), Mary and Jimmy as well as his grandchildren Ethan, Alyssa and Finley.

He graduated from Ray high school, Del Mar College, and Texas State University then earned a Master's degree from Texas A&l University.

Ronnie taught middle school speech and history for 45 years, 44 of those at South Park middle school, where the gym was named after him, until the school was torn down.

Throughout his life, Ronnie was passionate about his Catholic faith, evangelizing the Gospel through teaching, leading by example and charitable works. He was a founding member of St Pius X Church, where he taught CCD and later became the Principal of the CCD program for more than 20 years.

Ronnie was a regular Blessed Sacrament Adorer & Auxiliary member at the Blessed Sacrament chapel. He was also a member of the Retired Teachers Association.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at Seaside Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Gathering will resume at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at St. Pius X Catholic Church with the Holy Rosary to be prayed at 11:00 a.m. and Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Seaside Memorial Park at 1:00 p.m.
