Ron Hotler, 74, of Watseka passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at his home. He was born on September 11, 1950 in Quebec City, Canada, the son of Kenneth A. Hotler and Elizabeth M. (Rougher) Hotler. They preceded him in passing along with his late wife of thirty years, Linda Hotler. He married Latisha "Tish" McCullough in Watseka on October 18, 2020.

Surviving are his wife, Latisha "Tish" Hotler of Watseka; three sons, Mike Balding, Mark Balding, and Chad Hotler; six additional children, Terry (Angie) Watts, Raymond (Lisa) Watts, Amanda (Mike) Horney, Kasi (Derek) Johnson, Corey Measaw, and Mathew Measaw; his siblings, Kathy Shedrow and John Hotler; twelve grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Ron participated in demo derby's, mud drags, and circle track racing. He was very handy and could fix just about anything including all things mechanically. Ron enjoyed hunting and fishing. Most of all, he loved spending time with friends and family.

A memorial visitation will take place from 4:00-7:00 pm on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at Baier Funeral Home in Watseka.

Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
