Ronald Sassmann Obituary
Ron was born on March 4, 1940 in Owensville, Missouri.
Ron was a painter/decorator by trade. Throughout his life this was not always his main job, but always remained in the background as his favorite way to make a living.
His favorite job was when he worked for the KC Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium (whether he was painting or playing Santa) he retired in 2002.
Ron was a family man who enjoyed doing most anything as long as Virginia or Robin were there. He enjoyed being outdoors; fishing, deer hunting or just looking at new cars.
He loved the Lord and looked forward every year to helping with the Timothy Lutheran Church Steakburger stand.
Ron was proceeded in death by his wife Virginia.
His survivors include his daughter Robin Bishop (Rodney), 2 Granddaughters Jessica Huff (David) and Nicole Sanders (Brian) and 1 Great Grandson Carter Sanders.
Funeral Service for Mr. Sassmann will be on Friday, September 19, 2025 at 11:00 am at Funeral Services of Independence. Visitation will be from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at the chapel. Interment Valor Park Memorial Gardens.
Arrangements conducted by Funeral Services of Independence. Condolences may be shared on our website.
