Ronald A. Seys, 80, of Delmar, Iowa, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf, Iowa, surrounded by his family.
Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities.
Ronald Adrian Seys was born on June 11, 1945, in Moline, Illinois, the son of Omer and Mary (Gothels) Seys. Ronald tended his cattle for his entire life, continuing his devotion to the farm even while working other jobs. His cattle was his passion, and he took great pride in caring for them.
He cherished time spent on the farm, being with his grandchildren, and spoiling his beloved dogs. Those who knew Ronald understood that his quiet dedication, strong work ethic, and love for family defined who he was.
Ronald is survived by his children, Shane, Brandon, and Amber Seys; grandchildren, Aiden, Ethan, and Briley Seys; his dogs, Spooky and Rusty; and many friends whom he considered family. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, and a sister.
